The Things Network has an active forum space that allows people to discuss anything related to the network. it is is a great place to find other contributors and start discussing the setup of a community. You can create a new topic under the category: Campaigns with the name of your community. Write a first post in this topic to announce your existence and to find people who are interested in contributing.

Have a look at The Things Network Amsterdam Twitter as an example. We have some guidelines for Twitter accounts:
- Write out "TheThingsNetwork" in your Twitter name (for example TheThingsNetworkAms)
- Use "TTN" for the Twitter Handle (for example: TTN_Amsterdam)
- You can use the logo shown in the community page as your profile picture

Connect gateways
Create coverage by connecting gateways.
The Things Network is currently developing their own gateways which will be in retail near the end of this year. You can pre-order these affordable gateways in the shop already.
You probably don't want to wait that long. Happily, The Things Network supports different kinds of gateways like the Multitech, Kerlink and Lorank. You can even build your own gateway.
In case you already have a gateway, you can add it to the map.
COMMUNICATION CHANNEL
Create a channel to communicate internally.
In order to communicate internally, we highly recommend you to create a Slack group. It is a free messaging app that helps organizing your team conversation and allows you to directly reach out to members.
You can also use other ways of communication, as long as you make sure people have easy access to join the conversation.

Our mission is to provide the entire Uxbridge district and the surrounding towns and villages with Internet of Things data connectivity by crowdsourcing the network by its citizens and local companies.
With an approx 8-10km radius around Uxbridge town center we aim to dovetail with the larger main London Community to the East inside the M25 area but also with the Windsor Community and Bourne End & Cookham (effectively the South Bucks) Community, covering the Thames Valley and the M25/M40/A40 & M4/A4 transport routes. Overlapping coverage around Gerrards Cross, The Chalfonts and Slough and looking up to the Chiltern Hills area to the North West. With reach around Denham and the key M25/M40 interchange, Black Park & the Iver Heath area towards the outskirts of Slough, down to the Heathrow Airport estate and the M4 in the South and North towards the Lakes, Ruislip up to Maple Cross and potentially the outskirts of Rickmansworth and East/North East to around Northolt past the RAF base then out to Harrow.
If there is general community interest in the outer fringes of the initial circumference area we can look to expand the community by 1 or 2km as appropriate.
